Cape Town – Award-winning House music DJ turned businessman Sibusiso “DJ Sbu” Leope has come out to caution and “empower” people on the intricacies and the benefits of the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) and cryptocurrency space.
According to Forbes, an NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects such as art, music, in-game items and videos, while, cryptocurrency is a medium of exchange that is digital, encrypted and decentralised.
TimesLive reports that DJ Sbu is the first South African to launch a successful project in the NFT space with the DJ Sbu Enters The Metaverse album, however, the DJ has been vocal about his initial scam when he ventured into the futuristic realm.

“I’ve been scammed but then getting more knowledge made me understand it’s not crypto that is the scam, it’s the people who scammed me with their knowledge that is better than mine. The market is always volatile, so instead of me giving someone money I do my own research. Look after your money. Don’t give your money to just anyone,” TimesLive quoted DJ Sbu as saying.
Earlier, the Remember when it rained hitmaker had been offering a free educational course to his multitude of followers for those who wanted to understand the futuristic realm.
I’ll be renting out the “DJ Sbu” avatar you see below for use on the Metaverse for gaming & other things.

He took to Twitter to let his followers know that “the future is here”.
“I’m busy shifting the culture forward. My peers in the industry have brilliant minds, more creative and better than mine, I know they’ll quickly catch on to what I’m doing and take it to higher levels. The future is here. The Metaverse is here. Adapt or get left behind. We moving,” he said.

Dj Sbu told us that we need to learn crypto currency in 2022 he doesn’t know that capital is the main issue here. We all need a small lump sum to kick-start us.

Cryptocurrency is such a complicated binary data to understand.
I hope you know what you are getting yourself into Sbu, bcs the same reason why some ppl blame you for how Zahara turned out, will be the same reason they blame you when they lose their money on Crypto.
