After his controversial exit from SABC3’s breakfast show, Expresso, due to gender-based violence (GBV) allegations towards his partner Monique Muller, Katlego is recalling himself.
Earlier this year the justice system exonerated him from his partner’s allegations, and his publicist Lerato Maleswena later issued a statement in an effort to clear his name.
“The court has not made a finding of acts of domestic violence that were allegedly perpetrated against Ms. Muller, and as such, the matter has been dismissed. This is a great victory for Mr. Maboe, who has maintained his innocence throughout the two-year ordeal,” read the statement at the time.
