Cape Town – South African DJ and media personality, Lamiez Holworthy has taken to social media to open up and share the trials and tribulations she is facing as she journeys through her pregnancy.
The DJ took to Facebook to share the physical, mental, and emotional changes she has had to endure. Nausea, migraines, and pains are all a part of the package.
However, she said that feeling her baby’s kick makes everything worthwhile.
“It’s not nice here,” the DJ wrote in the caption of a video she posted to Facebook.
“As funny as it is, there’s a lot of changes that come with being pregnant- physically, mentally and even emotionally. Throw in the hormones, the nausea, the abdominal pains and migraines, the only thing that makes it all worth it is feeling your baby kick.
“Nothing could’ve ever prepared me for this journey but it is one that I am so grateful for. One that I prayed for and even if it gets worse,it’ll all be worth it- my child will be worth it.”
“To every expectant mom, Block out the noise and enjoy every minute of it,” she added.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, Lamiez shared how she took her unborn child with her to work at the Metro FM studios.
She said that she wanted her son to know what a hard-working woman she is and how much blessings he has brought into her life.
“Take a boy child to work day,” she wrote.
“Someday, someday when my pumpkin is grown enough, he must know and appreciate the hardworking woman that I am.
“He must know that he brought me sooo many blessings and that life didn’t stop because of him instead my life has just begun.”
