Cape Town – South African award-winning artist Donald Moatshe has revealed that his stolen trademark red mic was worth R30 000.
The singer took to Instagram to post a video of Podcast and Chill hosts, Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho and Sol Phenduka having a good laugh at his misfortune.
“Like he performs with that mic even at my birthday party, even at Propaganda he is gonna be performing with that mic,” said Sol.
Sol and MacG were left stunned, when Ghost lady, another podcast crew member, chimed in and revealed that Donald’s mic actually cost R30 000.

Donald revealed earlier this week that someone broke into his car and stole his mic.
“Someone broke into my car and took the case that had my red mic, so my microphone has been stolen. I don’t know what they going to do with it because you can’t really sell that microphone. I just wanted to ask for your help.
“If anyone has any sort of information please send me a DM (direct message) and give me all that information. Whoever can help, I’m going to organise a reward for anyone who comes up with any sort of information that could help us. I am opening a case of theft,” Donald said in a video.
