Cape Town — Rachel Kolisi took to social media and had great reason to celebrate as she reflected on what has been a busy and blessed 2023 for the Kolisi family.
Rachel and the family have settled into life in France following their move in August. The family spent a lot of time supporting Siya as he led the Springboks to World Cup victory in France before his move to Racing 92. Despite taking some time to adjust to their new home, the family are now settled.
As the year draws to a close, the family geared up for the festive season when they were joined by Siya’s siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, for the family’s first White Christmas. Rachel uploaded a reel from a beautiful family day out at a park close to the Louvre as they enjoyed a Christmas market, as she reflected on the year that’s been.
“We spent most of the day exploring Jardin des tuileries, a park very close to the Louvre, it had the most incredible Christmas market. Nic and Kez have been in 3 different schools in less than a year, and finished the first term at the school they’re currently at. Liyema is done with his first year of studies and Liphelo done with grade 9!”
“We haven’t been out much because I’ve had so much work to get closed out before the year – 4 days to go till I finally get a break, and we head out for the holiday of our dreams! It’s been one WILD year, and we plan on having the best, most quality filled time this holiday.” she added.
Siya has a game in Ireland tonight, just letting you know before the questions start 😂❤️” she concluded.
