Cape Town — South African rapper Da LES, also known as The North God, is currently recovering in a Johannesburg hospital following a stroke.
In response to his condition, his close friends have launched a fundraising campaign to help cover his medical expenses, leaving fans both surprised and concerned.
According to online publication ZiMOJA, Da LES’s inner circle has reached out for donations on behalf of his mom, Priscilla Mampe. The claimed appeal has ignited a heated discussion across social media, with many questioning the need for public fundraising given the rapper’s alleged opulent lifestyle.
The revelation has left many X users in disbelief, particularly since Da LES was on the verge of celebrating one of his famed All White Parties before the stroke occurred.

God forgive me but i will never donate a cent to any so-called celebrity or hardcore buty influencers🤞💯
