Cape Town – South African radio personality Dineo Ranaka has been showered with support after she recently admitted she’s been struggling with suicidal thoughts.
Dineo revealed that she’s not been doing well with her mental health and took to Instagram to post three posts revealing her thoughts.
Shje told her fans that she understands those who want to commit suicide and she’s trying not to let it get to her.
“I COMPLETELY understand souls/spirits/people that commit suicide. I get it. I get them.
“Because I’m trying my best to NOT commit suicide. My mind is sooooooo loud of late and life is so f*****g HARD. So f*****g hard and I’m trying my best but it seems my best is not enough. My Childrem, my God,” she wrote in two other posts.

Dineo currently hosts The Breakfast Show on Kaya959 and they released a statement on their Instagram page revealing that she is currently going through a difficult time.
“Kaya wishes Breakfast show host, Dineo Ranaka much strength as she finds her way through a difficult time. Dineo hasn’t been on air this morning after openly sharing her struggles on social media,” Collen Louw from Kaya959 said.
“The Kaya 959 family is keeping Dineo in their hearts, and we wish her healing. We also ask for privacy as Dineo gets through this difficult time,” the statement read further.

Dineo was showered with a ton of support from friends and family.
“Yeah. But we fight. We reach for even the slightest sliver of light Dineo! I recognize this feeling. You are not alone.” Tumi Morake wrote.
“There’s no permanent problem my queen stay strong, everything will pass. Sending love to you,” commented Makhadzi.
According to IOL, many South African celebs have struggled with mental health issues, including Pearl Thusi, who revealed she suffered from depression.
Lady Du also revealed that her crippling depression had led to attempted suicide a few years ago.
Riky Rick and HHP are also among some of the famous names who have lost their lives to suicide and mental health issues.
