‘I’m honestly going through a lot’ – Cassper Nyovest

Cape Town – Award-winning rapper Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter recently and shared with his followers that he is “honestly going through a lot”.

Cassper’s tweet comes days after his former close friend Rikhado “Ricky Rick” Makhado allegedly took his own life after battling with “chronic depression”.

“I’m honestly going though a lot,” tweeted Cassper.

He later followed up with another tweet that revealed his personal introspection on life.

“Sad sad generation. Scary times,” he said.

Earlier, Cassper had revealed how the untimely death of Ricky had affected him. He said that he was not okay and wished that he had spent more time with him to make amends for their previous differences.

“I’m going to miss you my nigga. I thought we had time, I can’t say I don’t regret wasting it but I have to come to terms with it at some point. Until we meet again, we gone stay shinning,” he wrote.

According to The Citizen, Cassper and Ricky were close friends a couple of years ago but got into an argument which created a drift in their relationship.
