Cape Town – One SA Movement leader, Mmusi Maimane set Twitter abuzz recently when he responded to the trolls made against him suggesting that he’s “too old” to listen to Drake.
Drake’s new 21-song album, Certified Lover Boy was released last week and it features among other artists, Jay-Z, Lil’ Baby, Travis Scott, Future, Kid Cudi, and Tems.
Maimane is amongst many who enjoyed the album. He took to Twitter to share his favourite song, Love All, which features Jay-Z.
“When they ask me about the old situation,” Maimane tweeted.
He also wrote at the bottom of his tweet: “Want sympathy when they tried to end me.”
“want sympathy when they tried to end me”…

However, things turned sour when one Twitter user suggested that Maimane was “too old” to listen to Drake.
And the politician responded with a sense of humour.
I am 41. Jay Z is 51. You have no point, move on.

Other Twitter users also joined the troll, and Maimane had nothing but time on his hands – he gave more spicy responses.
Take a look at some of the responses the leader dished out:
So…You think we just listen to Mandela speeches on repeat?
