Cape Town – After taking a hiatus from the social media streets following her recent divorce announcement, media personality, Minnie Dlamini broke the silence with a tweet paying tribute to fallen rapper and fashionista Rikhado “Ricky Rick” Makhado.
Minnie took to Twitter on Wednesday after the tragic news of the rapper’s untimely death and she tweeted:
“I won’t tell a word of a lie I am broken!!! Today’s news could’ve easily been me,” said Minnie.

The death of Ricky has sparked a furious debate on social media about mental health-related illnesses such as depression, which the late rapper is said to have been chronically suffering from.
Minnie recently issued a statement on her Instagram account announcing her divorce from her husband of almost five years, Quinton Jones.
The two share a son together.
“Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son,” read the statement.
She subsequently posted the latest picture of herself on Instagram and deactivated the comments section, blocking anyone from saying anything.
She simply captioned it:
“Stephy on the beat.” alluding to celebrity make-up artist Stephy Ramokoni.

I personally admit that I laughed at the jokes that were made regarding your divorce and forgot that you are human and had the tables turned I wouldn’t have liked it . Ube’right ,I pray your better days will come soon for you and for everyone else who is broken. ❤

Hope you’ll get better soon.
Many concerned ppl are wondering if it’s marriage, money issues, chemical imbalances or living a fake life.
All I can say is that everyone is going through tough times & until we fix the fundamentals of how we live, nothing will change.

Suicide is never the answer. You leave gaping holes, questions, resentment and unresolved feelings. Life isn’t easy but it isn’t THAT bad either.
