Cape Town — Radio host and former Idols SA judge Gareth Cliff is known for pushing the limits with his controversial views and his latest incident was no different.
Cliff didn’t have too many kind words for Eusbeius McKaiser, the experienced journalist and analyst who died earlier this week.
Speaking on CliffCentral, he was very outspoken and had nothing nice to say about Eusebius.
“I never really liked EusebiusMcKaizer. I thought he was a poisonous and horrible person. He wrote vicious, unkind and divisive columns… I’m not going to be one of those people who pretends I’m sad that he’s gone. Although I’m not revelling in his death, but I had no time for this dud,” he said.
Cliff said Eusebius was a bitter and resentful man and that he was more upset by the death of Tina Turner, whom he never met than he was by Eusebius, whom he did meet.

While there were many around the country who were grieving Eusebius’ death, there were a lot of those on Twitter who echoed Cliff’s sentiments and weren’t feeling too disappointed by his passing.
See nothing wrong here! Sticking to what he believes and a lot of people, including myself, agree 110% with Cliff. Eusebius was a divisive , bitter snd negative person with permanent victimhood mentality chip the size of the moon on his shoulders. No loss! Sorry!

I was never a fan. In a country like South Africa , having a radio personality who was so openly racist and divisive was counterproductive.
However, condolences to his family and friends…https://t.co/CunyDOObvw

He said nothing but the truth. @GarethCliff, you echo my sentiments.
