Cape Town – Former TV presenter and actress, Nonhle Thema took to Instagram in her latest post to pay tribute to her late father, Derrick Thema.
She shared with her followers just how painful losing him had affected her.
According to TimesLive, Derrick Thema died on December 31, last year, and was laid to rest on January 6 in Meadowlands, Soweto, Johannesburg.
“So I still miss my Dad his death was painful I never felt that kind of pain before it was so direct,” said Nonhle in her post.

She ultimately consoled herself and declared her love for her father.
“But, I’m okay now I dreamt him going up into the sky. My spirit knows his okay. I love you DT forever. My angel, Derrick Thema,” she said.
Nonhle is the daughter of Cynthia Shange – the first black beauty pageant model to represent South Africa in Miss World in 1972.
Shange was recently awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Royal Soapie Awards for her contribution as an actress on the South African Television screens.
