Cape Town — Murdah Bongz, now known as Morda, recently celebrated his birthday and one of his more unexpected birthday wishes came from Kairo Forbes, the daughter of AKA.
Kairo’s mother is DJ Zinhle, a former partner of AKA and the current partner of Morda. He has stepped up massively to be a father figure to Kairo since AKA’s tragic death in February and it seems as if it has not gone unnoticed and unappreciated by Kairo.
She wrote a short and sweet message to her “step-dad” on her Instagram page, believed to be run by her “glammy” Lynn Forbes, The South African said.
“Happy birthday @murdahbongz I love you so much ❤️??,” she wrote.

Kairo also shared the Instagram stories of Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle at Morda’s party, where she was spotted in pictures with him. It’s clear that Morda has accepted Kairo as his own child.
He and DJ Zinhle have a daughter together named Asante Mohosana.
