Cape Town – Kwaito legend Bonginkosi “Zola 7” Dlamini took to Facebook on Monday to set the record straight after rumours that businesswoman Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize had donated a million rand into his account.
Zola said that he was aware of the scam going around, of people claiming to be his representatives soliciting money from the public using their own bank accounts.
“There’s a problem. I don’t want people to scam you all. I am being told that there are people who are trying to get you guys who are contributors to contribute to them instead of contributing to me,” said Zola.

He said that there was only one bank account to deposit their donations and he shared it with his followers on the video clip.
Zola went on to clarify MaMkhize’s hospitality and said that she did nothing wrong.
He also hinted that the businesswoman and socialite was working something up her sleeve and people should be on the lookout as “she is doing something amazing”.
“She just wanted to cook for me and for me to meet her son. By the way, she is doing something amazing. It is not my part, it is not my position (to declare what that is),” said Zola.
