Cape Town – Businesswoman and socialite Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize has come to her family’s defence, following allegations levelled against her and her family by popular DJ Sithelo Shozi.
According to Times Live, Makhize and her son Andile Mpisane trended on Twitter after abuse allegations were made against them by Andile’s former girlfriend Sithelo Shozi on Tuesday evening.
Sithelo took to her Instagram stories to interact with her followers in a Q&A session. One follower asked her what were some of the lessons she took away from her relationship with Andile.
And Sithelo alleged that she was abused by Andile.

“Let’s start when I was beaten to a pulp and had a miscarriage at the hands of my so-called ‘victim’ in a room of his family and friends, rushed to the nearest hospital and treated like nothing happened,” Sithelo wrote in one of the Instagram stories.
Gossip blogger, Musa Khawula shared some of the screenshots from Sithelo’s Instagram stories.

But in an official statement, MaMkhize rubbished Sithelo’s claims, saying that neither herself or her family have been witness to any alleged abuse against Sithelo.
“I would like to categorically state that neither myself nor my family have been witness to any alleged abuse against Sithelo – and further like to highlight that these allegations are false and defamatory.
“Given the nature, severity and extent of these allegations the matter has been referred to our attorneys and from now hence forth – it’s of the utmost importance that we let the law take its course in this regard,” wrote MaMkhize in a statement.
