Cape Town – South African actress Lerato Nxumalo is well known for her on-screen portrayal of the medical intern, Dr Luthuli on Durban Gen, but off-screen, she was the one on the operating table receiving a Brazilian butt lift.
According to the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, “a Brazilian butt lift is a specialised fat transfer procedure that augments the size and shape of the buttocks without implants. Excess fat is removed from the hips, abdomen, lower back, or thighs with liposuction, and a portion of this fat is then strategically injected into the buttocks.”
“A skilled cosmetic surgeon can improve the proportions of the entire lower body with Brazilian butt lift surgery, helping a patient lose fat in common “problem areas” and enhance the buttocks, with results lasting many years.”
Despite having an already amazing figure, Lerato perhaps felt that she could make it even better!

TimesLIVE reports that the actress took to Instagram, posting stories in which she shared pictures of herself post-surgery, in the hospital bed with a drip in her hand.
In a different post on her stories, Lerato shared a picture of what seems to be her body after the butt lift.
“I cannot wait to heal properly and share my experience. I’m so grateful for you guys,” she reportedly wrote.
