Cape Town – South African musician, Nadia Nakai, had a mixed sense of pride and sadness following the premiere of her slain boyfriend AKA’s Mass Country album on Friday, February 24.
Nadia took to Instagram to say that she is so proud of AKA’s work, but still can’t believe that he is no longer around to witness his own work.
“I can’t believe this is happening without you. I’m so proud of you baby. You did it. MASS COUNTRY OUT NOW‼️ ❤️♾” she said in the caption posted with a picture of her staring at the rapper’s album cover in the background.

According to The South African, Nhlanhla Nivo Ndimande, manager and co-executive producer of Mass Country said that AKA put his heart and soul into the album, with the album being a full two years in the making.
“He put his heart and soul into it, and we were blessed that Kiernan got the opportunity to map out this entire rollout and approve all the elements, so what will be coming out will be as per his direction and his vision. We thank the Forbes family for their faith in the entire team working on this project,” said Ndimande.
Mass Country is available to stream on all platforms, with many fans noting the song that AKA collaborated with Nadia Nakai, called Dangerous.
You can feel the true love between @Nadia_nakai & @akaworldwide through their verses ❤️, they compliment one another effortlessly. While @blxckie___ comes as a medium between the two .. also his ad-libs on both verses brings the whole thing to life .. GENIUS ?????? pic.twitter.com/Ho5H0sny3W
