Cape Town – South African singer Makhadzi recently took to social media to rubbish claims that she had been arrested.
Rumours suggested that she was arrested just a few hours before she was due to perform on Boxing Day.
The singer took to her Facebook account to let her fans know that the rumours surrounding her arrest were false and that she had been preparing for her show, which she also advertised in the post.
“I can see allegations of me being arrested to all my fans please stop entertaining the lies, no Police came to arrest me and I haven’t received any papers . I am safe and free as I am speaking now, I am eating my Christmas at rehearsals room, preparing for my show for tomorrow 26 DECEMBER at GIYANI STADIUM. Please come support me. Tickets are available at computickets and web tickets. I pray the allegations are not meant for you to not come to my show thinking I am arrested, some people are wicked yoooo, sending love and light to you all,” she said on Facebook.
Makhadzi also posted a preview to the concert on her Instagram page, saying: “I am ready for tonight, get your tickets nowww! #giyanistadium #makhadzifamilyday”
