Cape Town – South African award-winning musician Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, better known by her stage name, Makhadzi, has celebrated her fourth album African Queen and EP called Pain ya Jealousy for reaching gold status in less than a year.
She bagged 13 plaques.
The plaques were awarded to her by her record label, Open Mic Productions, during an interview on the Metro Fm Drive Time show with Tbo Touch, according to Channel24.
Makhadzi took to her Instagram account with excitement, thanking her fans for their undying support.

“13 plaques. I am in tears right now. All thanks to my fans for always making sure everything I touch turns to platinum. I am happy to announce that African Queen album reached gold, in less than a year. Kokovha album reached double platinum.
“Zwivhunywa ft Joh Deliger reached platinum. Ghanama ft Prince Benza reached double platinum. Mjolo ft Mlindo the Vocalist reached double platinum. @openmicprodsa you for making my dream to come true,” wrote Makhadzi in an Instagram post.
