Cape Town – Leon Schuster has addressed a death hoax that falsely claimed he had passed away.
The comedian and filmmaker, who recently underwent two back surgeries and is scheduled for more, reassured his fans of his wellbeing.
On his Facebook page, Leon expressed frustration over the rumours, jokingly threatening the source of the false news.
He thanked his true friends for their concern and affirmed his faith in Jesus.
“I hear I’m dead again. What crazy head posts stuff like this? I will kick him there where he will never be able to have children again. It’s not nice when your people call you and say ‘I’m so happy to hear your voice. ‘I’m a Cheetah, a cat, and this is the sixth time this has happened. Luckily a cat has 9 Lives, so at least I have 3 left!! Thank you for your inquiries and for your concern and love – these are TRUE friends. Your love is etched on the table of my heart. Thank you Thank you Thank you and Thank you Dear Jesus that my life is in Your hands!!,” he wrote.
Leon also shared a video with fellow actor Alfred Ntombela, where both humorously debunked the rumors, emphasising they are very much alive.
