Cape Town – Award-winning musician King Monada says Dr Malinga has taught him how to be independent in order to avoid disappointment in future.
King Monada said this as the Casanova hit maker received donations from his fans and celebrities towards his SA Revenue Service (Sars) debt after he broke down and cried during an interview on the Podcast and Chill, as he shared his financial struggles.
During the interview, Dr Malinga opened up about his R2 million Sars bill and how no one came to his rescue when he needed help.
King Monada took to his Twitter timeline to give the singer his flowers and thanked him for teaching him to be independent.
Thank you, you’ve taught me how to be independent, not to depend on others so I may not be disappointed, to hold onto myself and God only. Take all your flowers while you are still ???? ✨️?@drmalinga ❤️ pic.twitter.com/Z5yc4QjB7m

“Thank you, you’ve taught me how to be independent, not to depend on others so I may not be disappointed, to hold onto myself and God only. Take all your flowers while you are still …” wrote the Malwedhe hitmaker.
The Limpopo-born star’s fans thanked him for acknowledging Dr Malinga’s role in his life. Some, however, said that Dr Malinga needed money and not flowers at the moment.

The irony in your message Monada. I’m not sure if you’re being genuine or you’re just mocking the poor guy. pic.twitter.com/ndjthODH6W
