Cape Town – Media personality Pearl Thusi has secured her first radio mix gig at Gagasi FM, marking her debut in DJing.
Scheduled for the Midday Connexion slot every Wednesday from 12 pm to 3 pm, Pearl expressed her excitement on social media.
“Livestream! Or tune in! So exciting! My very first radio mix. God is so good!,” she wrote, according to The Citizen.
Pearl embarked on her music journey earlier this year, debuting as a DJ at the Makhelwane Festival in Soweto, Johannesburg, where she received support from fellow celebrities, IOL reported.

Despite facing online criticism, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity and reflected on overcoming fear of judgment.
Recently, she announced her first international gig in Zambia.
