Cape Town – Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, has announced that he will be giving away 50 pairs of Cassper Nyovest’s RF990 latest sneakers to his followers.
Malema took to Twitter recently to announce that he will be giving away pairs of sneakers to 50 of his followers who retweeted his post.
The move is “in support of a black child, black enterprise and black business”.

According to Times Live, the RF990 sneakers retail for R990 each and would cost R49 500 for 50 pairs.
It remains unclear whether the sneakers are sponsored or if Malema will purchase them for his followers.
“The first 50 people to retweet this tweet, using this hashtag #RF990 and tag Cassper Nyovest will get RF990 sneakers directly from Don Billiato himself, in a venue to be communicated directly to the winners,” wrote Malema.

The red barrets’ leader is no stranger to the chartable scene.
Just last week, Malema commemorated women’s day by handing over homes to grannies in Limpopo.

When we say our people must have quality houses, we are speaking of women dignity as many households are women headed.

Malema’s gesture received a positive reaction on social media.
He is a symbol of inspiration to a lot of young Black people and by supporting him you also inspiring them. Fifty people will get an opportunity to meet him up and close and some will start to believe in themselves and one day in the future it will be them doing the same.
