Cape Town – South African radio personality, Sureshnie Rieder, shocked her fans with news that she will be relocating to the United States (US), describing her move to the American city, Arizona as a “sweet adventure”.
The former 5FM presenter announced the news on Facebook, with many of her followers sad at her departure, but happy that she is taking on new experiences.
“I’ve been wanting to share this special news officially for a while ..and what better way to do this but today…in the last week we spend in our beautiful home South Africa,” she said in the Facebook post.
“This weekend my little family – Leigh and Pavani and I take on a sweet adventure as we emigrate to Arizona – USA.
“We’ve been experiencing the duality of life with so much sadness following the loss of my dad, saying goodbye to family, friends, colleagues and then experiencing the excitement of new beginnings.
“But we walk in grace and gratitude as we take on this absolutely incredible opportunity!”
She showed gratitude to everyone who has been a part of her journey thus far.
“Thank you …thank you for the love and the support. I’ve just been so beyond grateful for so much joy that I have experienced.
“I have so much to say and at the same time ..for the first time I’m stumped for words…but just know my heart is so full of the best memories and I’ll carry all of that to the other side.”
