Cape Town – South African actress Siphesihle Ndaba was asked by a follower about a moment that changed the trajectory of her life, and she recounted the story of how she was not deterred by “impostor syndrome” to get the breakthrough she wished for.
Ndaba currently plays the character Mazet on the hit TV show Gomora and credits the fact she landed the role on how she disregarded her fears to go through with the audition.
“What has been your biggest or best or favourite moment of luck? A moment that you just know changed the trajectory of your life,” a Twitter user asked to ignite Siphesihle’s inspiring thread.

I saw an open audition advertised on instagram. I had just graduated so I thought meh ??♀️ let me go check this out, I have nothing better to do with my day. I get to the audition venue, I look around and I see some really talented people who are already in the industry – https://t.co/yjNvWwzvpR
