Cape Town — South African music star Lady Zamar recently celebrated her 28th birthday.
Lady Zama took to Instagram and posted a picture of herself in a flowy white dress and wrote a beautiful birthday to herself where she encouraged herself to live, grow and push to achieve her dreams.
“This coming year, I am going to live, learn and grow in a large way. God has blessed me with so much love and so much beauty in my life. I am going to discover more of my dreams, be brave and take one step at a time each week towards turning my life into the into the life I’ve dreamed about,” she said.
“I am good enough. I am strong enough. I am smart enough and even though life has tested me, God has been faithful and good and God has carried me through in His Goodness and His love. I am deserving to live a life that is uniquely mine, an exquisite life fuelled by living in truth and living honestly. Shout out to all my friends, my handsome man and a special shout out to my family for being the best support system a child could ask for.” she continued.

She then switched platforms and took to Twitter where she decided to give relationship advice to her women followers, encouraging them to “do better” when it comes to relationships.
“Men date according to how they see themselves… this is why they hardly ever settle for just any woman who loves them no matter how sexy or beautiful. however, women tend to settle and date lower than they see themselves, usually deciding to get married to men who love them and treat them well even though that man is below their standards in many important and significant ways.”
She said when women raise their standards, it stops giving “trashy” men an opportunity to access their bodies.
“My advice to women is to date and marry as men do… keep your standards high and don’t listen when people (other men vying for a chance with you) tell you that you’ll never find someone like that because trust me… you will! and as easily as they do.”
