Johannesburg — Music star DJ Zinhle revealed how difficult it gets for her to console her daughter, Kairo Forbes, whenever she gets sad about the passing of her father, AKA.
It’s now over eight months since AKA was gunned down and killed in Durban in February. His death left a big hole in the lives of his lvoed ones, including his parents, his girlfriend Nadia Nakai and his daughter, Kairo.
Kairo is one of the people who has been impacted the most. At just eight-years of age, she has had to deal with a great loss on her life and despite being as brave as she possibly could be, but sometimes her emotions get the better of her.
DJ Zinhle, revealed how hard it was for her to comfort her daughter whenver she cries for her dad.
A video of her comforting Kairo started circulating on X, showing Zinhle hugging and laughing with Kairo in an effrot to make her feel better.

The post received mixed reviews from many people on X. While many empathised with Kairo for her sadness and understood how difficult it is for her to not have her dad with her, others said Zinhle was chasing clout for choosing to video the moment, with some also pointing out Kairo was not crying in the video.

“But it is necessary for her to post this . Zinhle needs to grow up,” @ratosjackson said.
