Cape Town – South African media personality Dineo Ranaka recently topped the Twitter charts after screenshots of a heated argument between her and makeup artist Felicia Zwane made rounds on social media.
According to IOL, Felicia was contacted by Dineo’s team to promote the star’s makeup brand, LuvDR in December.
Her rates were discussed via text.

However, after completing the work she was hired to do, Dineo and her team gave her silent treatment and did not pay her.
She contacted them multiple times but with no response from either Dineo or her team.
When she finally got a response, Dineo said she and her team were still investigating the industry’s daily rates, alleging that Felicia tried to “extort” from her an amount that was “way beyond” industry rates.

She further made allegations against Felicia saying that an internal inquiry on missing products was being investigated.
“On the days she worked, R3 000 worth of makeup stock went missing. As a business, we have to investigate that. I communicated with her on DM and she tried to get cocky with me and I then left it to my team to resolve,” Times Live quoted Ranaka as saying.

So this Dineo woman is fighting over R3850. I’m not shocked ??? I’ve seen this before. It’s about asserting control. It’s about making this poor girl feel like she’s nothing. https://t.co/6wAiVjRKSf

As a makeup artist in South Africa this is a very familiar issue. They agree to your rates, they have you start working and when it’s time to pay they tell you, your rates exceeds the initial budget. I know this all too well ☹️ https://t.co/Bi7rheaobu
