Cape Town – Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane has been crowned Miss Supranational 2022.
Lalela was crowned on Friday at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheatre in Nowy Scz, Poland.
She represented SA against contestants from 69 other countries.
The beauty queen made history by becoming the first woman of colour from South Africa to win the title, Times Live, reported.

“I don’t think words could express my gratitude for this experience. The people I have crossed paths with, the memories I have made and the things I have learnt have all been so enriching.
“A big THANK YOU to you team South Africa and all of team Lali across the world. I have been warmed by your all your constant love and words of encouragement throughout this journey,” wrote Lalela in an Instagram post.
