Cape Town – South Africa’s media darling, Bonang Matheba took to Twitter on Thursday to congratulate Thabo “Tbo Touch” Molefe on his comeback to the urban radio station Metro FM.
The public broadcaster, SABC, issued a statement this week, announcing the new line-up for the radio station as of April 1.
Since then social media has been abuzz with congratulatory messages for the veteran radio broadcaster, including from Economic Freedom Fighters’s (EFF) Julius Malema, who tweeted:
“My boy @iamtbotouch is back in the building; @METROFMSA will never be the same. The return of the best will threaten only those with low self-esteem. Congratulations my guy, kill them.”

Bonang, on the other hand, had this to say:
“Welcome back @iamtbotouch. Order is restored,” said Bonang in her tweet, with her trademark red heart emoji.

Bonang said that Tbo Touch will restore order as “that place is run like a circus”.
This was after a tweep tweeted that Bonang left the radio station because of a lack of professionalism when it came to its “talent”.
“Yup. That place is run like a circus. All they wanna do is embarrass you for no good reason. Black people. It must be a South African thing. Very little respect for talent, plus no professionalism. It’s weird,” said Bonang.

Tbo Touch left the embattled radio station nearly six years ago to start his own digital radio station Touch HD.
