Cape Town – Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi has reportedly landed her first acting role in the star-studded American historical film The Woman King.
Zozi, as she is affectionately known, announced the news on social media.
“I am so honored and excited to announce that I have been cast for the film, The Woman King. It is a completely new world and first time experience for me so I enter it with the utmost respect and humility. Forever grateful and looking forward,” wrote Zozi in a tweet.

Her role in the much-anticipated film is not yet known.

The Woman King is an upcoming American historical epic film written by Dana Stevens and directed by Gina Prince -Bythewood. It stars Viola Davis, Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, and John Boyega. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released by Sony Pictures Releasing on September 16, 2022, Wikipedia says.
