Cape Town — South African actress Boity Thulo has decided to drop all the charges against media personality Bujy Bikwa.
The decision comes almost two years after the two were involved in an alleged altercation while on a night out in Midrand. Audio and video clips emerged from the night where insults, screaming and bottle breaking could be heard.
Bujy has admitted before that he regrets that night with everything in him.
“I regret that night with everything in me. We exchanged words, and we were physical at some point, but it wasn’t that and I would really like for her to tell her part of the story. I would really like to hear from her to say exactly what happened, maybe when she tells the story it will be a better narrative,” he said.

Boity had initially pressed charges against Bikwa and took the matter to court but it has now been revealed that she has dropped the case and the two have now “kissed and made up”, The South African said.
“We hugged, we spoke, and we are okay. We both agreed we are going to move on and be civil towards one another. I’m at peace, we are both at peace. I think it’s a lesson learned from me I think from both of us,” Bujy told TimesLIVE.
Since the incident, Bujy revealed that he has undergone therapy to help him deal with the stress and depression he’s suffered.
“This thing broke me. Going through depression and suffering from social anxiety was the hardest thing I’ve had to go through. I had to forgive myself and what had happened because at some point if don’t forgive yourself, thinking you should have walked away… There are so many emotions,” he said.
