Cape Town – South African Award-winning deejay Nkosinathi Maphumulo, better known by his stage name “DJ Black Coffee”, is set to perform alongside some of America’s greatest acts at the highly anticipated annual Coachella festival in April.
According to Kaya 959, the music festival was on hold for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, it has returned this year with a bang, featuring a slew of artists.
A report by East Coast Radio revelaed that this is not the first time Black Coffee has been asked to perform at the music festival. He also performed in 2016.

Coachella will take place at the historic Empire Polo Club in Indio from Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 24.
Registration for tickets presale has been opened until January, 14.
Black Coffee will kick things off on Day 1 and 4 of the music festival, perfoming next to big international stars like Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and Kanye West.

This comes after the deejay recently received his first-ever Grammy Award nomination for his album “Subconsciously“.
