Cape Town – After securing the grand prize of R2 million as the winner of Big Brother, Sweet Guluva has opened up about his plans for life beyond the spotlight.
Throughout his time on the reality show, Guluva participated in numerous challenges, weekly wagers, and events designed to entertain viewers. His journey came to an end in dramatic fashion when the audience cast their votes, ultimately crowning him the champion.
The fifth season of Big Brother premiered on January 12 and concluded on March 23. During this time, Guluva won over the hearts of the nation with his authenticity and charisma. In the grand finale, he triumphed over runner-up Uyanda after securing the most votes.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Guluva reflected on his journey, saying, “People fell in love with the person who was on screen. My strategy was to be the head of house until the final day but unfortunately, there was heavy competition, so my strategy did not work. Only the people got me this far in the competition.
His genuine personality and relatability earned him a loyal fan base, with both viewers and celebrities rallying behind him.
Now, as he steps into life after Big Brother, he is determined to turn his dreams into reality.

Guluva has ambitious plans for his R2 million prize money, with a strong focus on real estate.
“Right now, the plan is to multiply. I’ve always wanted to get into property. I will seek information wherever I can find it but my mother knows a lot about it so she’s got me covered,” he said.
