Cape Town — South African music artist Lady Du is enjoying more to her life than just her career, as she embraces the joy of being a mother.
Lady Du has a daughter called Mia and while getting her ready for school one morning, she exclaimed that she enjoys motherhood and is so proud of the young lady her daughter is growing up to be.
“You know, I prepare and take my daughter to school every single day. It’s just sooo amazing to watch her grow into such a sweet young lady Today she said mommy thank you for being there for me. I cried hey. How she looked at me after saying it. Being a present mom is the best gift any mother can give their child,” she wrote.

According to TimesLIVE, Lady Du previously said that she had changed her work schedule to revolve around her daughter’s life and that she’s loving every minute of it.
” I stated that I don’t take gigs during the week if they affect her daily routine. This has made my life so easy. I’m never late for any meeting. My day starts at 5am. My body is so used to it. I love it,” she said.
