Bafana not at Qatar for the World Cup but Mama Joy takes Mzansi ‘flair’ to the Middle East

Cape Town – Bafana Bafana may not have been able to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, but Mama Joy is making sure this World Cup does not lack the Mzansi flair that brightens everything up.

Mama Joy is representing South Africa and other countries from the continent.

The avid Royal AM supporter was one of 20 football fans who were selected to represent Africa at the global level after it was requested by the world football governing body.

Mama Joy was full of gratitude for the opportunity to go and watch the World Cup live.

“Thank you God ,, Mamajoy Going to Qatar for the whole Tournament am going to represent all African (Continent)Supporters of football thank you Supreme Commitee working with FIFA for the 1st time in history of Football to arrange Fans from various countries,” she said in a tweet. 

She also gave her followers a glimpse of the accommodation she has been provided with for the duration of her stay in Qatar.

She also shared her experience on the big screen during a fan fest. It seems as though Mama Joy can now be considered an international celebrity.

“You won’t believe Family I attended The opening of FIFA Fan festival at Albidda Park ,,, They showed me on the screen with My SA scarf All the fans screamed from there Every fan wanted a pic it was pic after a pic Mamajoy is famous in Qatar ,,, I enjoyed,” she announced on Twitter.
