South African Gqom musicians, Bongekile ‘Babes Wodumo’ Simelane and Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo have welcomed their first child.
The announcement on Instagram on Wednesday coincided with the release of the trailer for the couple’s upcoming Showmax reality series, Uthando Lodumo, Channel24 reported.

“Unkulunkulu emuhle njalo (God is always good). Our beautiful blessing is finally here,” Babes captioned a photo taken at an unidentified hospital with her newborn.
Babes and Mampintsha have nicknamed their son ‘Spontshi’, according to True Love.
