Cape Town — Miss South Africa 1st runner-up Ayanda Thabethe was recently honoured with the Miss Congeniality award at the Miss Supranational pageant in Poland.
South Africa was well represented at the pageant – Lalela Mswane was there as the reigning Miss Supranational, former Miss SA Jo-Ann Strauss hosted the event, while Ayanda was also there as a competitor.
According to The South African, Ayanda performed well throughout the preliminary rounds of the competition, winning one of the top five Miss Supranational slots after answering each question with eloquence during the finals of #suprachat 2023.
Despite her incredible performance, the beauty queen only made it to the Top 24 of the competition but she still flew the SA flag high when she earned herself the title of Miss Congeniality.
