Cape Town – Faith Nketsi says her helper has resigned after she discovered the tweets in which the reality TV star vented on about her treating her “husband like a king”, but when she asks her to do something, “she drags her feet and looks like she could say no”.
Faith painted the full picture for her Twitter followers when she made a lengthy thread on the social media platform, venting about her situation with the helper.
In a more recent thread, Faith opened up about what happened after the auntie saw the tweet.
Ok! So Aunty saw the tweets and she resigned today. She claims that she’s worked for a lot of people and they’ve never had a problem with her or tweeted about her (apologies to her friends/fam that saw the tweets). I then explained to her that I didn’t mention her name nor did ➡️

I post her picture. She also went to say that I called her an elephant so I explained to her what “an elephant in the room” means. We spoke about what had happened that day and she stuck by not knowing where my cloths are. So I asked her 3 times where my clothes stay and she
Finally said in the wardrobe by the bedroom, so then I explained that that’s where I wanted her to look. She then went to say me and her don’t talk much unless it’s all laughter, so then I asked her why she told my husband that I spoke to her like a slave, and she said “yes you shouted at me, and I understand because I was also ur age when I had a baby”. My mom then said, “so because u have kids her age, u refuse to take orders from a child, which is understandable Aunty and maybe this isn’t the job for u”.
I then asked “u once had a little altercation with my mom, because u went to ur room when she asked u to help take Sky’s things upstairs, but in the morning U asked to speak to her and u guys patched things up. Why didn’t U do that with me?” And she said it’s because she spoke to “umnikazi we Khaya”and he said we will have a meeting about this when he gets back from work but he never did it, so she wasn’t going to confront me nje.
She said she may be desperate for a job but she will not take this disrespect and humiliation of being outed on social media. Long story short we sent her money to go home well and that’s that on that. We offered transportation, and she said her lawyer sister is outside to fetch her.
Luckily we had a lady that was going to fill in for her in December while aunty goes back home for the holidays. So she’ll be starting tomorrw instead of December. That will give us time to find someone new. Thanks for all the advice y’all. I expressed myself on Twitter bcos I really needed 2 know if I was over my head and also get different perspective from other people. At no point was it meant to be [melocious].
Faith acknowledged that the way she went about addressing the issue was wrong of her.
“Not once did I think she was going to see these tweets, I mean she’s 50 and she said she had no idea of who I was but that’s no excuse. I take full accountability for expressing myself on social media instead of communicating with her. There, I WAS WRONG SHEM. We live to learn.”
