Cape Town – Media personality Anele Mdoda has earned praise for promoting her domestic worker, Florence, to a key position in her production company, Rose And Oaks Media.
Known for her supportive treatment of staff, Anele shared in a series of tweets that Florence, previously her “nanny,” is now part of the production assistant team, handling wardrobe duties as well.
At first, she posted about her new employee: “Wow, what a score! The kids love her. She is clinical in cleaning. She makes beds like she works at the Saxon, and she thinks my cooking is the best!! Also, she moves with feline energy!”

When followers inquired about Florence, Anele’s former nanny and helper, she clarified, “Flo is no longer the nanny. She’s now part of the PA team and works as a wardrobe assistant for my productions.”

Anele’s followers applauded her leadership and empowerment in providing opportunities for her staff.
The radio and TV star has previously treated Florence to international vacations and bought her a car, demonstrating her commitment to fair treatment and employee wellbeing.
