Cape Town – Royal AM chairperson and aspiring artist, Andile Mpisane took to Instagram recently to announce that he will be gifting 21 university students with recurring debts from last year with R10 000 towards their tuition fees.
Andile celebrated turning 21 this week and in celebration of his birthday, he said that he wanted to bring back the #RoyalAMFeesMustFall movement for the benefit of students who are in debt.
“Today marks my 21st birthday, for which I would firstly like to thank God for getting me this far,” he started off by saying in a lengthy post.

“In celebration of my 21st birthday this year we are back again with the #RoyalAMFeesMustFall movement. I would like to give back by gifting 21 university students that have recurring debt from 2021 with R10 000 towards their fees. You can also nominate someone in need of this financial aid,” said Andile.

Earlier, his mother, businesswoman Shauwn “MamKhize” Mkhize took to the social app to pen him a heartfelt birthday note and to commend him for his generosity to those who are less fortunate than him.
“I am super proud that you continue making your birthday about helping and uplifting others. A selfless quality that I most admire about you. You remain the centre of my heart and my love for you is more than any words could ever describe. I love you,” said MaMkhize.

Andile also broke the news this week to his followers that he has been signed under giant music record label Def Jam Recordings Africa.
According to TimesLive, he will be joining award-winning artists such as Nasty C, Stogie T and Boity under the same music record label.
