However, according to the latest statement from Danie Odendaal Productions, the immediate suspension of production is due to payment issues, The Citizen reported.

“You are not required to be at the production studios until further notice. Management will communicate as soon as possible [on] when you can resume with your normal duties,” concluded the statement.
According to IOL, actor Denver Vraagom, who played Sheldon on the show, revealed the cast received the latest communication from Danie Odendaal Productions , “via Whatsapp” on Sunday, September 3.
He shared his frustrations on Facebook saying he and his wife Ingird Paulus (Vanessa on 7deLaan) were ready to move on.
“And there you have it! Via WhatsApp on a Sunday morning. Time for Ingrid Paulus ( and myself to move on! The disrespect! The way it’s done! Oh well.”
