Cape Town — Uncle Waffles’ stock continues to grow and her success this year has not gone unnoticed – both locally and internationally, as she keeps showing off her talents.
A big feather in her cap was when Beyonce co-signed her after she played her hit song Tanzania during her Renaissance world tour.
According to TimesLIVE, Uncle Waffles has gone from strength to strength on the global stage and receiving praise from the likes of rapper Drake, singer Ciara and partying with supermodel Naomi Campbell.

However, the praise hasn’t stopped there. Another one of the industry’s biggest names has given her praise, as former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland revealed on the Pretty Smart podcast where she said she’s been a fan of Uncle Waffles for over a year.
She said she was ecstatic to see her being part of the Coachella line-up in 2023 and said she’s been following her since before her rapid rise to fame.
“I love music. I listen to music all the time … It’s really cool to see artists come up with new ways — like there’s this really cool DJ out right now, her name is Uncle Waffles and she’s got so much personality … she’s so cool, she just played at Coachella but I’ve been knowing about this girl for at least a year now,” she said.
