Cape Town – Media personality and actress Minnie Dlamini has decided to spoil her mother and father by rebuilding her childhood home for them.
Minnie’s successful career has meant she has been able to pay her parents back for the years of sacrifices they’ve made to allow her to be successful.
She’s already spoiled her mother by buying her an expensive BMW a few years ago and this time she’s taken it one step further.
Taking to Instagram, Minnie posted two pictures of herself kitted out in full workers’ gear and sitting on the front porch next to some bricks. It looks like she was heavily involved in the building process, as she looks exhausted.
“When life throws you bricks, build houses ? Renovating my childhood home has been a movie lol ? Can’t wait to show you when it’s done. I do it ALL for my family ♥️ Bought my Mama a car now it’s time give her, her dream home ? and Dad lol ?,” she said.

The South African reported that the house-building process has been an expensive one but one that Minnie has been enjoying.
She described it as “a movie” and one that she could not wait to be finished so she can show her mother the revamped house.
Elsewhere, Dlamini has been on a new path lately, getting over the divorce from her husband Quinton Jones in 2022 and prioritising herself after getting married at a young age.
“Now I am 32 turning 33 and I’m actually starting to rediscover who Minnie is alone, and it’s a very interesting journey. It’s not lonely, but it is difficult realising in spaces and places I probably shouldn’t have been in,” she said.
