Magudumana was found with two passports belonging Dr Pashi, however, Ntshani has denied any involvement in Bester’s escape plan, the report said.

“The case was opened on Thursday, 20 April, 2023. The complainant alleges the pair defrauded her of money,” the report quoted Mathe as saying.
Bester escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre in Bloemfontein in May last year.
It was initially believed that he died in a fire in his cell, but DNA tests later confirmed that the body was not that of Bester.
After Bester’s escape, he and Magudumana allegedly made millions running a scam construction company called “Arum Properties”.
