Cape Town – South African media personality Ntando Duma has paid tribute to the late Costa Titch in an Instagram post dedicated to the musician.
Titch collapsed and died while performing at Ultra in Johannesburg on Friday 11 March. Duma has dedicated a number of Instagram posts to him, with her latest post a heartfelt message accompanied by pictures and videos from Titch’s memorial service at the weekend.
She thanked Titch for loving her and being kind to her, and that she was going to miss his aura, his energy and that the industry is also going to miss his huge talent.
“Thank you for loving me.. Thank you for your big kind heart. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for showing the world that IT IS POSSIBLE & that YOU CAN DO IT NO MATTER WHAT! Thank you for being an absolute great example to look up to and purely just showing us what hard work and humility is. Thank you for being you and thank you for making me a part of your life.”
She added that she had been robbed of the opportunity to love him the way he had loved her and that she would miss being able to see him one more time.
“I feel so robbed of an opportunity to love you fully, to love you the same way you loved each and everyone of us but I’m going to be okay knowing that you truly and genuinely loved me when you were still here. I’m going to miss your beautiful smile. I’m going to miss shouting ‘Dlala Costa Titch’ everytime I see you. I’m going to miss YOU. I still don’t understand why God took you away from us so soon but We are thankful for the life and moments that we’ve shared together and we are thankful for memories that we have created in your present life.”
She ended the long caption with “TITCH GANG 4 LIFE”.
