Cape Town – South African award-winning musician Zakes Bantwini has stepped forward for the husband-of-the-year award, giving his wife Nandi Madida a diamond ring for her 35th birthday.
Madida, a media personality, actress and musician, celebrated her birthday on 20 March and took to Instagram to show off the ring and other gifts.
“I met this man @zakesbantwini 10 years ago on my birthday, my best gift. Thank you for today ? #10yearsstronger,” she said.

Zakes dedicated an Instagram post to his wife, saying how blessed he was to have her as his life partner and that he wished her many more years of love and happiness together with him.
