Cape Town – South African DJ, television personality, radio presenter, businesswoman, and philanthropist Lamiez Holworthy was the recipient of a surprise baby shower, creating a moment for her in which “nothing and no one else mattered”.
The television personality took to social media to let her followers know that her friends and family had planned a surprise birthday shower for her and her soon-to-be-born son.
Lamiez uploaded a video to Instagram and expressed much delight at the gesture made by those closest to her.
“My mom and sister @lariezhholworthy surprised me with the most perfect shower for my little man and in that moment, nothing and no one else mattered,” Lamiez wrote in the caption of the video she uploaded.
She also added that her unborn is “loved so much already”.

A friend of Lamiez, Lebogang Tlokana, better known as The Funny Chef, took to her Instagram account to pay tribute to the soon-to-be mother, saying that she will make a very good mother.
“Dawg? You’re about to be someone’s Mother, which is something you’re already doing … it’s nothing new, you’ve been showing up for all of us, pushing us, assuring us that we are good enough, you’ve been filling up empty places within ourselves that we thought we could never patch up,” Lebogang wrote on Instagram.
“You’re going to be a Super Mom. Congratulations DJ yaka , Modimo Le Badimo bao okeletse go feta mo, ba tshireletse lelapa lago. I Love You.”
