Cape Town – “I couldn’t do this journey without the unwavering support of my partner Adrienne,” Mark Pilgrim wrote in the description of a Youtube video he made, dedicated to her and all partners of cancer patients.
The video was uploaded to his Youtube channel six months ago but serves as a good reflection as the aroma of love hangs in the Valentine’s air.
In the video, Mark emphasises how important he feels it is to have a supportive partner.

“I believe it’s one of my pillars towards my journey of recovery, of regaining my health because let’s face it, to go through this on your own is so much harder.”
“I’m blessed to have an angel on this earth, Adrienne, who really has been by my side from the word go. She’s with me physically and logistically,” Mark added.
“But it’s not just the physical or logistical side. It’s about the emotional support as well. And every single day, she has been my side, supporting me, because not every day is a good day.”

In December last year, Mark took the next step in his relationship with Adrienne by proposing to her.
Taking to Instagram, the radio DJ shared the news, expressing the love he has for his soon-to-be wife.
“I love you my Adrienne,” he wrote on Instagram.
