Cape Town – Patriotic Alliance (PA) deputy chairperson Kenny Kunene’s recent appointment as Joburg’s transport member of the mayoral committee (MCC) has had social media users talking.
This followed the controversial businessman’s interview on eNCA where he was asked about his plans for his new portfolio, and he responded saying: “Look, I don’t even know where the toilet is, I don’t even know where the kitchen is and I don’t even know if my office has a bar.’’
Although the interview was about 11 minutes long, Twitter users were fascinated by this 18-second clip and they commented with hilarious captions.
However, one caption that took the cup was this one: “After I have applied for the job I don’t qualify for.”

During the interview Kunene who has already been sworn in for his new position, said he will have to consult with the coalition partners, with all the parties putting forward their manifesto points, so that he can include everyone involved.
According to IOL, Kunene has a criminal record for running a Ponzi (a type of scam in which monies from more recent investors are used to pay gains to previous investors) scam.
The report said he was sentenced to five years in prison.
Prior to his conviction, Kunene worked as a teacher and was known as the “Sushi King” for supposedly eating sushi off naked women, the report said.
